Chinook Winds Greyhounds
Approximately 32,000 greyhounds are born in North America every year and over 350 rescue organizations work tirelessly to find them ‘forever homes’ after their racing careers are over. One such group is Calgary-based Chinook Winds Greyhounds. I strongly endorse their generous efforts on behalf of these graceful animals: they have placed over 850 dogs in western Canada since their inception.
